Satu artikel di www.detikinet.com menggelitik saya. Benarkah Internet membuat otak mahasiswa tumpul dan menghasilkan tugas-tugas kuliah yang tidak bermutu?
Saya justru lebih melihat Internet sebagai sarana bagi para murid dan juga tenaga pengajar untuk mendapatkan materi pendidikan yang kualitasnya setara. Artinya selama mendapatkan koneksi Internet, murid dan tenaga pengajar bisa mendapatkan konten pendidikan baik berupa tulisan, suara ataupun video yang sama.

Di awal tahun baru ini, kita disambut dengan harga minyak yang menyentuh $100 per barel. Tentu harga yang meroket naik ini akan memberikan banyak efek, termasuk yang sudah pasti kenaikan harga bensin dan berlanjut menimbulkan efek domino. Yang paling akan terkena dampaknya adalah biaya transportasi.
Walau begitu, kita harus menyambut 2008 dengan rasa optimis. Banyak kiat yang bisa kita lakukan.
